Nik Nur Madihah of SMA Maahad Muhammadi Kota Baru who scored 19 1As and a 2A has emerged as the top scorer of the recent SPM 2008 examination.The eldest of four siblings did mention that she did not miss any tuition classes as well as group studies organised by the school as she could not afford to take private tuition with her parents small income.Nik Nur Madihah also mentioned in the newspaper that her father, Nik Mohd Kamal Husin,who is a fisherman and her mother Mariani Omar, a cleaner in Kota Bharu, had always encouraged her to do well in her studies.She had planned to further her studies overseas so that she could help her parents and siblings in the future.Her success should be a motivation for all of us to pursue our studies to the highest plateau.....When there's a will,there's a way....
